When I heard about the incident where the TSA committed battery against a St. Jude cancer patient and the local police followed up with an arrest, I wished that it was within my power to prevent such atrocities from occurring again.
I don’t understand psychology enough to figure out why my fellow Americans don’t feel the same way. How far do things have to go before we demand this behavior stop? Is it the number of people attacked? Is it the degree in which they are harmed? Is it the type of person who is the victim?
I would think that having a nearly deaf, partially blind, partially paralyzed, definitely confused teenage cancer survivor going home from her treatments at St. Jude beaten up and arrested would be outrageous enough.
